    Thanks for this great article. Going to a mini yoga retreat sounds nice. The pictures look really nice, you get to be with other people practicing yoga outdoors. I really like the sailing retreat in florida, because you could do yoga out on a boat. Then you’ve got the motion of the water, and the water all around you. 

    I’d be most likely to go to New York retreats since I live in NY.  It looks like at the yoga ranch you can go outside which is nice. Being that it’s a mini retreat, I’d probably go to the closest one, while if it were a full retreat I might travel further.

    Thanks for the information.  I have been thinking of getting into yoga.  I have read a little bit about it and it seems very relaxing.  I knew there were yoga retreats but had no clue where to find them. I like the idea of the one in New York and one thing that I think would actually make the whole trip great would be to take a train if possible.  I’ve always wanted to see New York and this seems like a great way to do it all.

    These mini yoga retreats are such a great idea to mingle with other practitioners and get out to a new environment for a short time. I’ve noticed some businesses in my local area such as tour boats and inns getting on board with the idea. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement.

    I have a funny question, though. I read what you said about garlic and onions not being part of the yoga vegan diet. Why is that the case? Or is it just the Sivananda Yoga Ranch that follows that rule?
